What is Florida Equine Athlete?? Keep scrolling down (12 items listed)

1.  Monthly magazine- available online or as a hardcopy - for the barrel racing. Has sections for FL, AL, MS, TX,GA. Looking for more reps in other states to add on.  This magazine began in 2004 as part of my Ph.D. research:  An Exploratory, Comparative Study on Women Athletes and Women Who Own their Own Businesses. Used the barrel racer as my target athlete. I wanted a way to relay business strategies to my fellow barrel racers. So, I have a section in it called "The Business Side of Things"; Tina Spangler from TLC barrel horse training writes a section called "Training Tips and Care"; other writers with the magazine are Sharon Camarillo (champion barrel racer), Marlene McRae (champion barrel racers), Ty Barnes (physical fitness professional); and new writers coming aboard are: Barbara Shulte and Juliet M. Getty, Ph.D.  Magazine also contains biographies of all barrel racers whether they are beginning to ones who have made it to the top. It is because of EVERYONE that has made the barrel racing industry grow. There is also Calendar of Events for each state section with results and standings. The magazine is also the official publication for many organizations such as in FL: Florida Barrel Racers Assn, International Barrel Racing Assn, NBHA FL00, Suncoast Barrel Racers Assn, the Sunshine Barrel Racers Assn, and the WPRA SE Division (besides their official website and publication); in Alabama:  Gulf Coast Barrel Racing Assn and the SWS Arena; in Mississippi - J Bar K Productions (Gallman Barrel Racing) and we include articles about Ridin for the Brand Ministries; and finally in Texas:  The Competitive Barrel Racing Assn (COBRA).

2. FEA TV - Broadcasts

3. Video production - Footage is taken at events and these videos can be purchased on DVD. They go in movie form and it contains the original run that run in slow motion, and music is put to the slow motion. Will contain title pages, banners, and credits, etc. 

4. Video production of Personal events are done too - for example, I just completed a video of a funeral for a soldier who lost his life in Afghanistan. In addition, I completed a video for my daughter's high school graduation for her keepsake.
